We are excited to announce the release of our first new songs in 10 years. This two song 7″ was recorded last summer, in Southern California. We did it all, and it was a blast.
We are selling it in the newly reorganized store, we are also offering it as a digital download. It will be up on iTunes next week.
So on the In Name and Blood CD we worked with Sub Pop to make a pretty involved enhanced experience. This was the year 2000 here. The internet was SLOW. The interactive content used a lot of additional photos from the Death Scene photo shoots. It also contained this video for Bunkhouse.
This year, our favorite robot, Merchbot2000, brings us his second annual christmas record. It is for sale for “name your own price” on bandcamp. I bet after you listen to a sample track or two, you will see that it is well worth paying a few bucks when you download.
I can’t tell who’s drunk, Brewer or the character he’s playing. But somebody’s drunk.
He stays in character through 14 tracks of music and fireside banter, blowing down familiar verses and choruses with spoken asides. Area singers Spencer Moody and Andrea Zollo take turns on the mic, also singing badly. The line is stupid, but listenable. Too many songs in a row gets annoying, but don’t turn it off. Just turn it down. It stays funny that way.

Spencer also has his Old Jail series of paintings up over at Luckyhorse Industries. These two are 18″x24″, watercolor on paper. They come rolled and shipped in a tube.

So if you ever put the RIP cd into a computer you might have seen that it had enhanced content. I believe you would have had to have put it into an OLD PC, but trust me it is there. On it is four video clips from the video for Bear Away that we were doing. The video was never completed.
So here for your viewing pleasure are the four silent movie inspired videos (video clips have no sound).
